On. Monday Melissa Hall, known locally as a mom with a mission, gathered at the Dupre Place Apartments with other moms of autistic children, Flo Hammond, Crystal Jospehd and Kiara Brown. Joining the ladies was Mayor Julius Alsandor. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss and officially kick off a public safety campaign organized by the local group AUTISMLOVE 365. According to Hall the signs will be placed in high traffic areas throughout the city of Opelousas.
