According to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz, “On December 14, 2022, narcotics detectives with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office conducted criminal patrol on Interstate 49 in St. Landry Parish. While on patrol, detectives came into contact with Johnathan Bourque.”
Detectives conducted a traffic stop on a white GMC Yukon. Johnathan Bourque was identified as the driver. During the traffic stop, detectives gained probable cause to search the vehicle. During the search, approximately one half pound of methamphetamine (225 grams) was located inside the vehicle.
The estimated street value of the methamphetamine is valued at approximately $22,500.00.
On December 14, 2022, Johnathan Bourque was transported to the St. Landry Parish Jail and charged with possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS, failure to drive on right side of the road, switched license plate and no insurance.
