Opelousas Police is requesting the publics assistance in locating a vehicle that was taken during a robbery that occurred on July 17, 2022 just after 2:00 PM.
The victim was approached while doing some work in the St. Landry Cemetery by what he described as (2) young black males who were wearing mask and black clothing.
The suspects allegedly held the victim at gunpoint while one suspect got into his vehicle. The suspects ultimately left in the victim’s vehicle which contained several of the victims personal items, including a firearm.
The victims’ vehicle was a silver 2015 Chevrolet Silverado bearing Louisiana License Plate# Z230481. If any one comes into contact with this vehicle please notify local authorities and do not attempt to approach any suspects who may be in the vehicle as they should be considered armed and dangerous. Attached is an actual photo of the stolen vehicle.
