Press Release
Arnaudville, LA – Join artists David P. Morrow and Janelle Hebert 11 a.m.-4 p.m., Saturday, Aug. 27, for the exhibit opening of “Murmuration Collaboration,” a video installation inspired by a current work included in Janelle Hebert’s “A Bird in Hand” exhibit.
This new work is the creation of David P. Morrow and is drawn from photographs that he and Hebert took of her installation ‘Murmuration,” a 35′ x 12’ origami depiction of birds in flight, part of Hebert’s “A Bird in Hand” exhibition. “A Bird in Hand” concludes Sunday, Aug. 28 so this weekend is your last opportunity to see the exhibit along with its offspring, together.
Morrow’s video installation runs from Saturday, August 27th thru Sunday, October, 30th 2022. From one work to the other, these artists demonstrate how within the NUNU collective creativity is stimulated and encouraged. A native and resident of Arnaudville, Morrow holds a Master of Fine Arts from the School of Visual Arts in New York City. He works primarily in experimental animation and digital photography. “Murmuration Collaboration” shows at NUNU Arts and Culture Collective along with Anne Builliard Crownover’s “End of Her Rope.”
