Construction Begins for Arnaudville Fire Department Building
The construction of a new volunteer fire department building in Arnaudville scheduled for completion sometime in 2023 began Friday morning with a symbolic ground-breaking ceremony.

“A Bird in Hand” exhibit openes this month at NuNu’s in Arnaudville. The exhibit by artist Janelle Hebert will run on Thursday-Sunday, from 11a.m. to 4p.m., all month, and continuing during August, ending on August 28th. The artist reception is set for Saturday, July 9, 2022, from 11a.m. to 4p.m. at NuNu, 1510 Bayou Courtableau Hwy, Arnaudville, LA 70512.

According to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz, “On December 20, 2021, St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies were dispatched to the 900 block of Highway 31 in the Arnaudville area in regards to a stabbing.”

Cedric Garrett scored eight of Northwestern State’s first 11 points as the Demons hung around early with No. 19 LSU, but the Tigers flexed their defensive and rebounding muscles en route to an 89-49 win Tuesday in the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.
