Members of the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce met for their After Hours event with a Tea Time hosted in Grand Coteau in the recently opened venue Le Petit Cajun, LLC.

The event served as an excellent opportunity for networking as chamber members and community members enjoyed tasting menu items, browsing the shop and meeting with the owners. Mandy, a graduate of Louisiana Tech University and her husband Michael Hargroder opened the tea room boutique earlier this year with the ambition of providing a space that would bring people together and showcase local artisans. After living in Houston, the couple decided to move back home to Louisiana and embark on the journey of starting their own business in none other than St. Landry Parish. The Tea Room Boutique sits on the main street in historic Grand Coteau where you will also find locally made goods from artists in the area in addition to premium teas.

The Tea Room is set to host a variety of upcoming events that have a little something to offer for everyone from a Kids Reading Event on September 5th to Dining Etiquette for 6-8 graders and a Father and Son event in October. The venue is also available for booking a space to host tea parties, bridal showers and more.
