According to Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz, “The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Unit, in conjunction with the Eunice City Marshals Office, have been conducting countless hours of surveillance on Jeno Holcomb and his involvement in the illicit drugs sales in the Eunice area.”
On Wednesday, April 26, 2023 the Eunice City Marshals Office conducted a traffic stop on Jeno Holcomb, who was driving a white Nissan Altima. Jeno Holcomb was placed under arrest for an outstanding arrest warrant for Home Invasion and during a search of his vehicle, $8,114.00 in US currency was located.
The St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Narcotics Division, along with the Eunice City Marshals Office, executed a search warrant at Holcomb’s residence, where the following items were located:
- Approximately 76 grams of suspected marijuana;
- Approximately 392 grams of suspected Methamphetamine; and
- One digital scale.
The street value of the illegal narcotics located is estimated at approximately $34,420.00.
On April 26, 2023, Jeno John Holcomb was transported to the St. Landry Parish Jail and booked possession with intent to distribute schedule II CDS (methamphetamine), possession with intent to distribute schedule I CDS (marijuana), transactions involving proceeds from drug offenses and possession of drug paraphernalia. Jeno Holcomb was also booked on the outstanding arrest warrant for Home Invasion.
Holcomb has a lengthy criminal history including domestic abuse battery, illegal use of controlled dangerous substance in the presence of person under seventeen, distribution of a schedule I CDS (Marijuana), 3 counts of attempted second degree murder and aggravated assault with a firearm.
Sheriff Bobby J. Guidroz stated, “Our narcotics detectives along with the Eunice City Marshals worked hand-in-hand to get the illegal narcotics off the streets before it is sold to our citizens. This is proof that when law enforcement agencies work together, positive results happen.”
