The First Baptist Church JOY Group held a meeting today at the church hall on the South side of Opelousas. Those in attendance enjoyed a delicious meal and also learned about the history of Opelousas. The PowerPoint lesson was presented by Carola Lillie Hartley, a local historian, author and Publisher of St. Landry Now Newspaper.
