You’re never too old to rock and roll and hundreds of Opelousas area residents proved that Wednesday mornien they attended the monthly Elderness Awareness Program at the Yambilee Building. Those attending were hoping to have their ticket called for one of the many door prizes donated by area businesses and individual donors. The place started rocking when Geno Delafose and French Rockin Boogie provided the musical entertainment. Organizing the event was Gerald Greene, Opelousas Elder Awareness Program director.
