Opelousas, LA (January 7, 2026) – Mark your calendars for a delightful and unique evening on January 10,
2025, as the St. Landry-Evangeline United Way proudly presents “Men Who Wait on Women Who Wine” at
the Opelousas Civic Center. This celebrity waiter event promises an extraordinary night filled with fun,
camaraderie, and friendly competition, all for a fantastic cause.
Join us as local celebrity waiters including St. Landry Parish School Superintendent Milton Batiste, Mr. Ron
Burleigh, Arnaudville Chief of Police Josh Ross, Mr. Charles LaCaze, Mayor Julius Alsandor, State
Representative Dustin Miller, Mr. Joey Richard, Mr. Pat Guillory, Mr. Rob Hillard- Realtor Extraordinaire;
Opelousas Chief of Police Graig LeBlanc; Mr. Raymond Cassimere, Mr. Kip Bertrand; Mr. Trevor Wakelin,
and Mr. Mike Fontenot, along with Maître d, Mr. Michael Reaves compete for tips to see who can earn the most
in a single evening!
The proceeds from this exciting event will directly support the diverse, yet critical programs and initiatives of
the United Way, making a meaningful impact in our community. It’s not just a dinner—it’s an opportunity to
support local services while enjoying a fun-filled night with friends and community leaders.
