St. Landry Crime Stoppers and Det. Kimberly Signorelli of the
St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office needs your help in solving a
shooting in the city of Opelousas.
In the early morning hours of December 8, 2024, officers with
the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office and the Opelousas Police
Department were dispatched to a business located at the 800
block of S. Bullard Street in Opelousas in reference to a
shooting. 20-year-old Koby Dovan Levier and two 17-year-old
male juveniles were shot and transferred to a local hospital for
treatment.
Two handgun ammunition casings and one bullet were found
approximately 20 feet east of the front door in the parking lot of
the business. Multiple casings and one bullet were also located
on Bullard Street, approximately 50 yards south of the business.
