The St. Landry Parish School Board will be distributing meals this summer for children from June 5th through July 20th.

According to the Supervisor of Child Nutrition, parents of children in St. Landry Parish will be able to pick up meals for children in St. Landry Parish from the school board. A link to register for the program will be made available on school board’s page at slpsb.org by Friday, June 2nd.

The Summer Feeding Program aims to provide nutritious meals to children throughout the summer season. With the kids out of school for summer the absence of school lunches can place a burden on families, and we want to alleviate that stress by offering free, healthy meals to children aged 18 and under.
