Tourist and economic incentive-related events were introduced on Thursday during a luncheon hosted by the St. Landry Parish Tourist Commission.

The event held at The Parlor on South Main Street in Opelousas, featured presentations for equine tourism and high school rodeo, while the Town of Washington and Eunice introduced several events that will occur during the next two months.

Several new businesses in Opelousas also made presentations, while Herman Fusellier, the executive director of the Tourist Commission, discussed the various economic and tourist-center projects that are ongoing parish wide.
