St. Landry Now is proud to announce the start of a new feature. Berchman Soileau, a native and current resident of St. Landry Parish will be submitting his wildlife photographs as a featured item of interest each week.
Berchman was born and raised in St. Landry Parish. He lived in other areas for some time and eventually moved back to the parish where he makes his home today.
“After 40 years working as a land surveyor, I chose wildlife photography as my hobby,” Berchman said. “My joy is in capturing a moment in time that once gone, is gone forever. I love to share my photographs of the wildlife in our parish. Afterall, what joy is there in a picture if it is not shared,” he says.
St. Landry Now is delighted to have Berchman share his amazing photographs with our viewers. We know readers will enjoy them as much as we do. And for those who want to see more of Berchman’s work, check out his Facebook Group at https://www.facebook.com/groups/628728743850405.
