The Opelousas Police Department announced a series of personnel decisions last week during the monthly Board of Aldermen meeting at City Hall.
Here is a list of the promotions, resignations, terminations and confirmations released by Police Chief Martin McLendon.
The presentations highlighted promotions of three females to either permanent or probationary lieutenant officers.
Loretta Etienne was promoted to probational police lieutenant.
Catina D. Guilbeau was confirmed as a permanent police lieutenant.
Ebony Martin was confirmed as permanent police lieutenant.
Cedric W. Jackson was recommended as a probationary police officer.
Sarah M. Winbush was recommended as a police officer recruit.
Kerry Sam Jr. was returned to permanent police sergeant. Sam had been serving as a substitute police lieutenant.
