On Wednesday, July 12, St Landry Parish’s Parent and Family Engagement Department celebrates the conclusion of the program. Families attended a fun-filled educational experience at the St. Landry Resource Center where they engaged in reading texts that highlighted family culture and values. For the finale, the participants will present a mini-museum exhibit that represents what is important and special about their local community. Families are excited to display their amazing projects.
The event takes place on Wednesday, July 12, from 10 a.m. to 12 noon at Opelousas Museum, 315 N Main St., Opelousas, LA 70570.
