The town of Arnaludville is celebrating their annual Crawfish Festival this week-end and naturally the town was gearing jp for the large crowds in town for the event.
As I arrived Saturday morning the first person I ran into was an old friend I haven’t seen in years. Patrick Guidroz is a lifelong resident of Arnaudville and someone I met about a dozen years ago. Patrick is well know in the area but I met him through the antique three wheel bicycle he used to ride all over the parish. He was proud as could be with his completely restored vehicle.
Patrick is also a talented musician and singer as well as a song writer. He has been playing guitar since the age of eight, the same year he wrote his first song. He managed to play a few bars from one of his original songs in between his duties working parking lot security at Russsell’s Supermarket, He also will be doing security work during the festival, a job he has been doing since the festival began years ago.
The parking lot was starting to fill up so Patrick went back to his security work but not before playing a few more chords on his guitar. Goodl seeing you again Patrick.
