“What are you doing here Judy” I asked as I arrived at the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Dept. TRIAD Program being held in Port Barre Wednesday morning “Well Freddie I am a senior citizen” she said with a hearty laugh. Judy joined around 200 seniors at the quarterly TRIAD meeting which assists senior citizens by sponsoring crime prevention and public education for older adults. Judy is well known and liked in Port Barre having lived their all of her life. Judy retired from the St. Landry Parish School Board having spent her career at Port Barre High School. She is enjoying her retirement by getting together with friends and family, especially her her three great grandchildren. She also enjoys occasionally going to the casinos with her sister-in-law. Judy and her late husband, Harold Credeur, are the parents of two, Dirk and Rhonda. She also has one granddaughter, Holly.
