The town of Washington kicked off the Christmas season Saturday with a day long schedule of events that included live music, a silent auction, food vendors and s special visit by Santa Claus who arrived not on his sleigh but a shiny red fire truck provided by Fire District 3. Kicking off the celebration was the re-opening of the town’s historic museum.
