On December 10th, deputies with the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Office were dispatched to the Family Dollar located at the 10,000 block of Prejean Highway in Lawtell. Security footage from a nearby business shows a truck in the parking lot backing up to the front of the store at approximately 1:45 in the morning, leaving minutes later without headlights on and heading northbound on N. 12th Street. The truck appears to be a gray Ford F-150 between the model years of 2007 – 2013.
