Vendors will be lined up for 3 city blocks up and down Main Street. Music during the day will be provided by a dis jockey until 5pm. A Street Dance will be from 6pm-9pm and music will be provided by Don Fontenot and Les Amis de la Louisiane.
We will also be hosting a Catfish in a Gravy Cook-Off along with an antique car show. The Easter Bunny will come by from 10am until noon for pictures and to hand out candy to the children. To keep the children entertained, there will be a Kids Korner with games and prizes. There will also be a Balloon Artist and Face Painting for children of all ages. Items for sell will include t-shirts, beer, Cokes, and water. During the Street Dance, there will be BBQ burgers and chips for sell. There will also be a silent auction for everyone’s enjoyment to go home with a sweet remembrance of their experience in Washington.
There are a wide variety of vendors that have reserved their space for the festival. Foods range from BBQ, pork cracklins, sweets, burgers, hot dogs, friend fish, and rice and gravy, just to name a few. Craft vendors will be selling jewelry, wood crafts, homemade baby items, home soaps and candles, etc.
