Congratulations to Yvonne Normand, Past District Governor, for receiving the prestigious Governor’s Cup Award at the District 6200 Rotary Convention held April 21 – 23 in Lafayette. Yvonne was presented with this award from the current District 6200 Rotary Governor, Tim McNabb for outstanding service to District 6200 during the 2022-2023 Rotary year. Governor McNabb commended Yvonne for all of her support during his term as well as the time and dedication that she invested into the Interact Club & Conference, Rotary grant, special projects as well as the advocacy and education spread throughout the year about Rotary. Special recognition was also given to Yvonne and the Rotary Club of Opelousas Sunrise Club for the efforts made to put on the Opelousas Love Fest held recently.
