There is one week left to see the latest Opelousas Little Theatre production of Oscar Wilde’s The Importance of Being Earnest.

“We enjoyed this wonderful production. Please go see this fantastic play with some wonderful acting!”

The Importance of Being Earnest is a story of two wealthy bachelors, John Worthing and Algernon Moncrieff, who create alter egos named Ernest to escape the triviality of upper class life. They fall for two eligible young heiresses—Cecily Cardew and Gwendolyn Fairfax—who, unfortunately for them, claim to only love men by the name of Ernest. What follows is a tale of deception, romance, and bizarre caricatures of Victorian extravagance.

The next showtimes begin at 7pm this Thursday, March 30 through Saturday April 1 and a matinee showing at 2pm on Sunday, April 2.

Tickets can be purchased in advance at Sebastien Dupre Fine Jewelry store or online here https://opelousaslittletheatre.square.site/?fbclid=IwAR3U7eN0QW8KqZwWX3ATUBFaSz8ETitMASJN2-vVaqICDPaHMfNMV8a03Jw
