Beginning Monday morning at 7 a.m. St. Landry Parish residents began arriving at the Yambilee Building to pick up sandbags being filled boy parish employees and trustees from the St. Landry Parish Sheriff’s Dept. On Tuesday beginning at 8a.m. a never ending line of cars and pick-up trucks waited their turn to obtain the sandbags. The sandbags will be distributed until 7p.m. Persons unable to pick up can call parish government at 948-3688.
