Dr. Julissa Braimoh, Family Medicine Obstetrics physician, recently joined the OGHS Medical Staff. She is
originally from Bronx County, NY. She is Board Certified in Family Medicine and specializes in the
treatment and management of chronic diseases as well as obstetrics and gynecology.
Dr. Braimoh received her medical degree from the American International School of Medicine in
Georgetown, Guyana and completed her internship & residency at Baton Rouge General Medical Center,
Baton Rouge, LA. She completed a Perinatal & Child Health Fellowship from West Suburban Medical
Center in Oak Park, IL.
She is practicing at WellSmart Health Women’s Health Clinic located at 1270 Attakapas Dr., Suite 102,
Opelousas, LA. Office hours are Monday through Thursday 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00
