Despite a last minute change of venue. the Horses &. Harmony Annual Banquet was held Wednesday night at the Delta Grand. The St. Landry Chamber of Commerce event was hosted by St. Landry Parish Government and presented by St. Landry Bank and Trust Company, It was a night of good food, supplied by Benny’s Supermarket, and good music all to support the horse industry and the love of music in St. Landry Parish, especially Zydeco, which was provided by Jeffery Broussard and the Creole Cowboys. One highlight of the night was a proclamation presented by State Representative Rhonda Butler and Danny Lyons proclaiming the city of Opelousas as an Equine Hall of Fame City.
