Arrest Made in Connection with Shooting Incident on Judson Walsh and I-49

The Opelousas Police Department has announced a significant development in the investigation of the shooting incident that occurred yesterday on Judson Walsh and I-49. Following extensive efforts and collaborative work, law enforcement officials have arrested Sazbor Veal, a resident of 2000 block of Jake Drive in Opelousas, LA.

Sazbor Veal, born on September 25, 2000, has been apprehended and charged with multiple serious offenses related to the incident. The charges include:

Three counts of Attempted First Degree Murder

Assault by Drive-By Shooting

Felon in Possession of a Firearm

Illegal Use of Weapon and Dangerous Instrumentalities

Possession of a Machine Gun

Aggravated Criminal Damage to Property

This arrest marks a significant step forward in the ongoing investigation into the shooting incident.
