As a health system, we know that to learn about the needs of our community, we must stay involved. Being involved helps to identify areas of opportunity. We know that little changes can make a very big impact. Opelousas/St. Landry is a jewel to those of us who live and work here and many individuals, civic organizations and businesses are on the move for the betterment of this community. Opelousas General Health System is proud to be part of that movement. We are very excited to have multiple employees currently serving the St. Landry Chamber of Commerce. Shelton Anthony, Director of Environmental Services and Outpatient Laboratory Services, is serving as a board member and Emily Soileau, Service Excellence Manager, is serving on the St. Landry Chamber Foundation Board. Deanna Lejeune, Community Relations Coordinator and Shelly Fontenot, Physician Liaison, are both serving as Chamber Ambassadors. Additionally, three members of our team are enrolled in the 2022 St. Landry Chamber Leadership Class. They include Chris Warner, Food and Nutrition Services Manager; Shantelle Savant, Manager of Education & Ortho/Pediatric Services; and Morgan Bergeron, WSH Surgical Associates Practice Manager.
