Opelousas Police are currently on the scene of a shooting that resulted in the injury of one male victim. The shooting occurred just before 12:00 P.M. in the 700 blk of E. Madison St. The victim was transported to a local hospital with none life threatening injuries. The investigation is active and more details will be released as they become available.
