Artist George Marks presents on the pricing art work, 2-4 p.m., Sunday, Aug. 14, at NUNU Arts and Culture Collective. Marks, a mixed-media career artist has for the past 25+ years sold work both nationally and internationally. Marks is currently represented by three gallerys: Ann Connelly Fine Arts in Baton Rouge, Claire Elizabeth Gallery in New Orleans, and Judy Ferrara Gallery in Three Oaks, Michigan.
The Business of Art Café is a NUNU collective member only professional development workshop. If you are not a member of NUNU collective, and wish to become one, you can do so in person or online at nunucollective.org. Members planning to attend should reserve a seat via a free Eventbrite registration link.
The Business of Art Café series utilizes the “Springboard for the Arts” workbook “Work of Art: Business Skills for Artists toolkit.” Along with Pricing, the series includes presentations on: Marketing, Record Keeping, Legal Considerations, Funding, Grant Writing, Business Plan Essentials and Engaging Customers and Selling Your Work. Prior presentations include: Career Planning, Time Management, Portfolio Kit and Promotion It is sponsored in part by LSU School of Art and Design and Kevin and Winifred Reilly.
